Our Story

Since 2019, Youth Tube (Pvt.) Ltd. has embarked on a journey of renewal, expansion, and transformation, transitioning from its origins as a youth media development organization to a dynamic development consultancy firm at the forefront of driving change in the sector. Initially known as Pakistan Youth Tube, our mission was to empower and inform youth by developing media and messaging aimed at raising awareness and building capacity on significant social issues. From captivating short videos to thought-provoking documentaries, and from informative infographics to impactful social media messages, we focused on amplifying voices and catalyzing change. Pakistan Youth Tube was established on November 28, 2019. In the present form of Youth Tube (Pvt.) Ltd., it was officially registered on March 26, 2024, with the Company Registration Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under Section 16 of the Companies Act 2017 (XIX of 2017). Today, we have evolved into a fully-fledged development firm, poised to address a wider spectrum of challenges and opportunities facing young people in the country. With a commitment to fostering a more productive, hopeful, and engaged young population, Youth Tube is ready to make a significant impact in the development landscape.

We took a step towards a cleaner and greener future!
Bargad, in collaboration with Forest Inn Lodges & Resorts organized a 3-day Climate Action Camp in Bhurban, Murree. One of the key highlights of the camp was a cleanup drive along a beautiful but littered track near Forest Inn Lodges. Despite heavy rain, our dedicated team, local youth, and Forest Inn staff worked together to pick up trash, plastic bottles, and other waste from the area. Their commitment to environmental sustainability and climate action remained strong throughout.
Bhurban, like other northern areas of Pakistan, has long been known for its stunning natural beauty, rare plants, and peaceful environment. However, this beauty has been under threat due to irresponsible waste disposal. Used pampers, wrappers, and plastic bottles had become a common sight, posing serious risks to both nature and the local communities who rely on nearby water springs.
During the camp's closing ceremony, a video of the cleanup activity was shown to dignitaries, including DC Murree Shehryar Sherazi, Chairman of the Prime Minister Youth Program Mr. Rana Mashood, and Executive Director of Bargad Sabiha Shaheen. This event served as a powerful reminder of how collective action can make a significant impact on environmental preservation.
We raised awareness and took action against environmental pollution and climate change, showing that together, we can keep Bhurban and other beautiful regions of Pakistan clean, green, and thriving.

"3rd Vice Chancellors' Conference on Equitable, Inclusive, and Sustainable Future" organized by Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) and Bargad where esteemed Vice Chancellors from 30 universities across Punjab came together to discuss crucial topics shaping the future of education. This conference highlighted the importance of inclusion, with a focus to ensure a 2% minority quota in university admissions.

The conference featured three engaging panel discussions:

Panel 1: Inclusion and Diversity – Exploring strategies for fostering a more inclusive and diverse academic environment.
Panel 2: Climate Change – Addressing the critical role universities play in combating climate change through education and research.
Panel 3: Intra-Interfaith Harmony – Promoting understanding and collaboration among different faith communities within university settings.

Highlights - 3rd Vice Chancellors’ Conference I Equitable, Inclusive, and Sustainable Future

Bargad hosted a story circle session on June 14, 2024, with LPS members, youth, and community representatives from eight union councils in Lahore. This session of the JSA project aimed to reshape the public narrative by celebrating diversity, reducing hate speech and fostering social cohesion. Young voices from universities, and representatives of social platforms, and vulnerable communities shared their stories and discovered their connections.

This 3-day Capacity Building Workshop with Local Peace Structure (LPS) from Nishat Colony & Diyal was held at Bargad Office, Lahore, from May 31 to June 2, 2024 under the Joint Social & Cultural Action for Inclusive Society (JSA) project. The workshop aimed to deepen participants' understanding of human rights principles and their role in fostering inclusive societies, while also equipping them with skills in peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and advocacy.
